Oracle was first performed over several days during The Method between November 2017 to January 2018. I dressed in a number of costumes, such as widow’s weeds and a late 18th-century gown, and invited visitors to sit and receive a card reading from me. Interesting conversations ensued. For instance, one visitor challenged my attempt to read for them and sought to educate me on their version of interpretation. Moreover, I was able to reignite a friendship by reading for an old school friend while dressed in my high school uniform. Oracle is another extension of the interactive Once Upon A Time project that investigates the personal relationships we have with identity, time and a growing number of other themes.
